ABOUT THE ARTIST

I have been creating garments since the mid 1980s. Focusing on creating fabrics using dyeing, handpainting, blockprinting, and screenprinting techniques. I also use the highest quality vintage fabrics in many of my garments with sustainability in mind.

I design timeless, comfortable clothing and accessories with a focus on impeccable detailing. My work explores and pushes the timeless perspective but always builds off of classic forms.

I have a BFA in Textiles from Boston University and I continue to study surface design techniques to stay current and inspired.
